any way you slice it
One year ago today Mike and Tracey got married. Being best man, MC and guitar player for that shindig, I had a whole heap on my plate.
But by all informed accounts..... I nailed it.
As a token of Mikey's appreciation, he gave me a Kershaw blade. If anyone out there has one of these, you know how bloody great they are. I take this thing with me everywhere I go. It's become like my phone, if I don't feel it in my pocket.... something has gone terribly wrong!

Fort Rodd Hill
After a long day in Sooke and Metchosin, I thought I'd stop in at Fort Rodd Hill and relax a bit in the sun with my camera. Down at the beach the breeze was delightful and the ocean had a richness to it I haven't seen in ages.
I was sitting just behind some tall grass when I was immediately struck by this composition. The majestic Fisgard Lighthouse.
